Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations Provide a basic level of general nursing care to forensic clients, patients, and inmates with mental, emotional, or developmental disabilities Provide care under the clinical direction of a registered nurse or physician Respond to medical emergencies within the correctional facility, providing immediate care and coordinating with other healthcare and security staff Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting assessments, interventions, and communication with inmates Advocate for the health and well-being of inmates, ensuring that their healthcare needs are addressed appropriately JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE LPN LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE:
