We are looking for an experienced Permanent Commercial Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on ground-up commercial construction projects, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing site operations, ensuring construction safety, and coordinating with subcontractors.
If you have a strong background in commercial construction, a keen eye for reading blueprints, and a knack for effective site management, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Superintendent, you will be responsible for:
1.
Overseeing all phases of commercial ground-up construction projects from initial planning to completion.
2.
Ensuring that all construction activities align with project plans and blueprints.
3.
Supervising and coordinating with subcontractors, trades, and labor crews, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
4.
Managing site operations, including equipment, materials, and personnel.
5.
Ensuring construction safety protocols are followed at all times, and conducting regular safety inspections and meetings.
6.
Liaising with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities.
7.
Handling problem resolution and conflict management to maintain productivity and morale.
8.
Coordinating inspections, ensuring all work is up to code, and addressing any issues or deficiencies promptly.
9.
Providing regular project updates, including progress reports and forecasts, to the project manager and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Commercial Superintendent position should possess the following
Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
2.
Proven experience in commercial ground-up construction projects.
3.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety regulations.
4.
Excellent ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
5.
Exceptional skills in managing subcontractors and coordinating with various trades.
6.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
7.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle project challenges effectively.
8.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with project stakeholders.
9.
Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
10.
A relevant certification or degree in a related field would be advantageous.
